Bash Models

A sad loss to our hobby, Roy Hunt was a sculptor and producer of figures, busts and flats.

Sometimes the pieces were of a limited number, but in the man they were available to anyone interested in them.

Roy was an enthusiastic chap, always approachable and willing to chat.

With a slow, drawling southern England accent, once heard, Roy couldn't be forgotten.

I count myself very lucky to have had Roy as a friend, and have really enjoyed painting his models.

In fact, Roy's flat sculptures gave me two of the four Gold medals that I was lucky enough to win at Euro Militaire, a testament to his sculpting, more than my painting.

I have been trusted with the moulds for the range of flats that Roy sculpted, and sell them through eBay - seller ash0040 - with all monies gained from their sale being passed on to his Widow, Pat Hunt.
